Art Crush: Liz Markus

I could look at the art of Liz Markus all day long. Pigmented washes of colour + saturated hues = delectable visuals.  Inspired by the pop art world of Andy Warhol, Markus features recognizable figures and reworks the aesthetic context. The subject matter is fun, but the visuals are highly constructed. The level of detail in her portraits is impressive, and each piece is impossibly fabulous. Liz Markus has certainly earned her #coolgirl status.
